Listen to Job 32:5

Job 32:5 Meaning and Commentary

Job 32:5

When Elihu saw that [there was] no answer in the mouth of
[these] three men
That could be called an answer; nay, when he perceived they were quite nonplussed and silenced, though men of years and experience, and reputed wise and knowing:

then his wrath was kindled;
his spirit was stirred up; his heart was hot within him; he burned with anger against those men; he was all on fire, as it were, and wanted to vent his resentment.

Job 32:5 In-Context

3 He was also angry with Job's three friends. They could not find any way to answer Job, and this made it appear that God was in the wrong.
4 Because Elihu was the youngest one there, he had waited until everyone finished speaking.
5 When he saw that the three men could not answer Job, he was angry
6 and began to speak. I am young, and you are old, so I was afraid to tell you what I think.
7 I told myself that you ought to speak, that you older men should share your wisdom.
