Psalm 77:12 Meaning and Commentary

Psalms 77:12

I will meditate also of all thy work
Or "works" F20, which were many; he desired not to forget any of them, but remember the multitude of his tender mercies, and not only call them to mind, but dwell upon them in his meditations and contemplations, in order to gain some relief by them under his present circumstances:

and talk of thy doings:
for the good of others, and so for the glory of God, as well as to imprint them on his own mind, that they might not be forgotten by him; for all things that are talked of, and especially frequently, are better remembered, see ( Psalms 145:4-7 Psalms 145:11 Psalms 145:12 ) , the Targum is,

``I will meditate on all thy good works, and speak of the causes of thy wonders.''

10 Then I said, "What hurts me most is this - that God is no longer powerful."
11 I will remember your great deeds, Lord; I will recall the wonders you did in the past.
12 I will think about all that you have done; I will meditate on all your mighty acts.
13 Everything you do, O God, is holy. No god is as great as you.
14 You are the God who works miracles; you showed your might among the nations.
