30 He put the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.

And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation
and the altar
Of which position, see ( Exodus 30:18 )

and put water there to wash [withal];
for the priests to wash their hands and feet with; a type of that laver or fountain opened for the house of David and inhabitants of Jerusalem to wash in, ( Zechariah 13:1 ) .

28 Then he put up the screen at the entrance to the tent.
29 He put the altar for burnt offerings at the entrance to the tent (the tent of meeting). He sacrificed burnt offerings and grain offerings on it. Moses followed the LORD's instructions.
30 He put the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.
31 Moses, Aaron, and his sons used this water to wash their hands and feet.
32 They would wash whenever they went into the tent of meeting or whenever they approached the altar. Moses followed the LORD's instructions.
