7 Y esto te será señal de parte del SEÑOR, que el SEÑOR hará esto, que ha dicho

Isaiah 38:7

And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord
And which it seems Hezekiah asked, and it was put to him which he would choose, whether the shadow on the sundial should go forward or backward ten degrees, and he chose the latter, ( 2 Kings 20:8-11 ) , which was a token confirming and assuring that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken;
recover Hezekiah from his sickness, so that on the third day he should go up to the temple; have fifteen years added to his days; and the city of Jerusalem protected from the attempts of the Assyrian monarch.

5 Ve, y di a Ezequías: El SEÑOR Dios de David tu padre dice así: Tu oración he oído, y tus lágrimas he visto; he aquí que yo añado a tus días quince años

6 Y te libraré, y a esta ciudad, de mano del rey de Asiria; y a esta ciudad ampararé

8 He aquí, que yo vuelvo atrás la sombra de los grados, que ha descendido en el reloj de Acaz por el Sol, diez grados. Y el Sol fue tornado diez grados atrás, por los cuales había ya descendido
