Luke 21:13

And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
] By this means they would have an opportunity of leaving their testimony for Christ before kings and rulers; and what they should meet with from them, would be a means of strengthening and confirming them in the truths of the Gospel; and be a proof and evidence to them of the certainty of the above things Christ had said should be accomplished; as well as be for a testimony against the rulers and governors, Jews, and Gentiles, before whom they should be convened; see ( Matthew 10:18 ) .

11 y habrá grandes terremotos en cada lugar, y hambres, y pestilencias; y habrá prodigios y grandes señales del cielo

12 Pero antes de todas estas cosas os echarán mano, y perseguirán, entre-gándoos a las sinagogas y a las cárceles, siendo llevados a los reyes y a los gobernadores por causa de mi nombre

13 Y os será para testimonio

14 Poned pues en vuestros corazones no pensar antes cómo habéis de responder

15 porque yo os daré boca y sabiduría, a la cual no podrán resistir ni contradecir todos los que se os opondrán
