47 All the congregation of Israel shall make this sacrifice.

Exodus 12:47 Meaning and Commentary

Exodus 12:47

All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
] The passover, and the feast of unleavened bread only; for a Gentile was first to be circumcised, and be joined to the congregation, and then partake of it, and not before.

Exodus 12:47 In-Context

45 The foreigner and the hired servant shall not eat of it.
46 It shall be eaten in one house; thou shalt not carry forth any of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall make this sacrifice.
48 And if a stranger shall sojourn with thee and desire to make the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and make this sacrifice; and he shall be as one that is natural in the land, but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.
49 The same law shall be for the one who is natural, and for the stranger that sojourns among you.
