Thou gavest me no kiss; but this woman since the time I came in has not ceased to kiss my feet.
46
Thou didst not anoint my head with oil; but this woman has anointed my feet with ointment.
47
Therefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much; but to whom little is forgiven,
the same
loves little.
48
And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
49
And those that sat at food with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgives sins also?
50
And he said to the woman, Thy faith has saved thee; go in peace.
