Which have borne witness of thycharitybefore the church:whom if thou bring forward on their journeyafter[c] a godlysort, thou shalt dowell:

Because thatforhisname'ssake they went forth, takingnothingof the Gentiles.

Wethereforeought to receivesuch,that we might befellowhelpers[d] to the truth.

I wrote unto the church:butDiotrephes,who loveth to have the preeminence among them,receivethusnot.

Wherefore*, if I come, I will rememberhisdeedswhich he doeth, prating againstuswith malicious words:andnotcontenttherewith*, neitherdoth he himselfreceive the brethren,andforbiddeth them that would, andcasteth them out of the church.

Beloved,follownot that which is evil,but that which is good. He that doeth goodisofGod:but he that doeth evilhathnotseenGod.

Demetrius hath good reportofall men, andof the truthitself:yea,andwe also bear record; and ye knowthatourrecordistrue.
