16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.
11 Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
35 Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
1 My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
3 Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
7 Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
13 Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.
22 Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.
6 Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
18 Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
3 Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.
4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
16 When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak. 32 If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
20 Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. 8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. 9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.
