18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
20 A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
21 He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
15 My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. 25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.
17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. 3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
