1 Chronicles 9:18

Who hitherto waited in the king's gate eastward
At the gate through which the king went into the temple, and was at the east of it; and here these porters were placed in the same order after the captivity, and their return from it, as before:

they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi;
or in the camp of Levi, which was placed around the tabernacle, as in the wilderness: the Septuagint version is, "these are the gates of the camp of the children of Levi"; at which these porters were placed.

16 und Obadja, der Sohn Semajas, des Sohnes Galals, des Sohnes Jeduthuns, und Berechja, der Sohn Asas, des Sohnes Elkanas, der in den Dörfern der Netophathiter wohnte.
17 Die Pförtner aber waren: Sallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman mit ihren Brüdern; und Sallum war der Oberste,
18 und er hat bisher am Tor des Königs gegen Aufgang gewartet. Dies sind die Pförtner in den Lagern der Kinder Levi.
19 Und Sallum, der Sohn Kores, des Sohnes Abiasaphs, des Sohnes Korahs, und seine Brüder aus seinem Vaterhause, die Korahiter, waren im Geschäft des Amts, daß sie warteten an der Schwelle der Hütte, wie auch ihre Väter im Lager des HERRN des Eingangs gewartet hatten.
20 Pinehas aber, der Sohn Eleasars, war vorzeiten Fürst über sie, darum daß der HERR mit ihm gewesen war.
