Job 15:13

13 that thou hast vented rage before the Lord, and delivered such words from mouth?

Job 15:13 Meaning and Commentary

Job 15:13

That thou turnest thy spirit against God
Not against men, his friends only, but against God himself, being filled with wrath and indignation at him; showing the enmity of his heart unto him, and committing hostilities upon him, stretching out his hand, and strengthening himself against him, running upon him, on the thick bosses of his buckler, as after expressed:

and lettest [such] words go out of thy mouth?
as in ( Job 9:22 ) ( 10:3 ) ( 12:6 ) ( 13:22-27 ) .

Job 15:13 In-Context

11 Thou hast been scourged for few of thy sins: thou hast spoken haughtily extravagantly.
12 What has thine heart dared? or what have thine eyes ,
13 that thou hast vented rage before the Lord, and delivered such words from mouth?
14 For who, being a mortal, that he shall be blameless? or, born of a woman, that he should be just?
15 Forasmuch as he trusts not his saints; and the heaven is not pure before him.
