Listen to Luke 8:1-3

Ministering Women

1 Soon afterwards *, He began going around from one city and village to another, 1proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him,
2 and also 2some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: 3Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, 4Herod's 5steward, and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means.

Teaming Up to Prepare Our Generation, Part 3
Teaming Up to Prepare Our Generation, Part 3
Pastor Mike Fabarez

In order to finish the work He started, Jesus put together a unique team of people.  In the first church were men and women from all sorts of social, economic and racial classes.  Flash-forward two thousand years, and many of our churches are just as diverse.  And sometimes it can seem like recipe for conflict and disaster.  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez encourages us to see the differences in our church not as disadvantages, but opportunities!

If your church is like most, it probably includes a diverse membership of men and women from various backgrounds, jobs and personalities.  But all those distinctions among us can also be the very things that divide us.  On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez shows us how to see our differences not as liabilities, but as assets!  In fact, it’s those very differences that help us accomplish God’s mission for us as a church!

Even in a close family, there are moments of conflict.  With all those different backgrounds and temperaments under one roof, personalities may clash at times!  And the same goes for the family of God.  On this edition of Focal Point, we reached the end of our mini-series in Luke called, Preparing for the Kingdom.  To wrap it up, Mike Fabarez explains how we can prevent our natural and God-given differences from dividing the church.
