Jeremiah 30:24 Meaning and Commentary

Jeremiah 30:24

The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return
This explains what is meant by the continuing whirlwind in ( Jeremiah 30:23 ) ; until he hath done [it];
his whole will and pleasure; brought Babylon to ruin, and destroyed all the antichristian powers: and until he hath performed the intents of his heart;
in a way of grace and mercy to his people, and in a way of wrath and vengeance on their enemies: in the latter day ye shall consider it;
this prophecy, and understand it; and see it wholly and fully accomplished.

Jeremiah 30:24 In-Context

22 And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

24 The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents of his mind. In the latter days you will understand this.
