1 Crónicas 26:32

32 Había dos mil setecientos hombres capaces entre los parientes de Jerías. El rey David los envió al lado oriental del río Jordán y los puso a cargo de la tribu de Rubén, de la tribu de Gad y de la media tribu de Manasés. Eran responsables de todos los asuntos relacionados con Dios y con el rey.

1 Chronicles 26:32

And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven
hundred chief fathers
That is, the brethren or kinsmen of Jerijah the Hebronite were so many principal men in their families, and men of fortitude and courage:

whom King David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the
half tribe of Manasseh;
all which lay on the other side Jordan; and being so remote from the seat of civil government, and of the worship of God, they were in greater danger of revolting, both from their obedience to their king, and duty to their God; land therefore so large a number was appointed over them, to instruct them and keep them in their duty to both, as follows:

for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king;
to see that they kept close to the pure worship and service of God; and were faithful and loyal subjects of the king.

30 Del clan de Hebrón, Hasabías y sus parientes —mil setecientos hombres capaces— quedaron a cargo de las tierras israelitas al occidente del río Jordán. Eran responsables de todos los asuntos relacionados con el trabajo del Señor
y con el servicio al rey en esa área.

31 También del clan de Hebrón estaba Jerías, quien era el jefe de los hebronitas, según los registros genealógicos. (En el año cuarenta del reinado de David se hizo una investigación en los registros y se encontraron hombres capaces del clan de Hebrón en Jazer, en la tierra de Galaad).
