And now thou sayest, go tell my lord, behold, Elijah [is
here]: and he shall slay me.
] That is, should he carry such a message to him, and Elijah should be removed elsewhere, and not to be found.

12 Apenas yo te deje, el Espíritu del Señor

15 Pero Elías dijo:
—Te juro por el Señor
Todopoderoso, en cuya presencia estoy, que hoy mismo me presentaré ante Acab.

16 Entonces Abdías fue a decirle a Acab que había aparecido Elías, así que Acab fue a encontrarse con él.
