9 Una vez terminada la estructura del templo, Salomón puso un techo de vigas y tablas de cedro.

1 Kings 6:9

So he built the house, and finished it
The body of it, the walls of the holy and most holy place, with the chambers on the sides of them, and the porch at the end that led into them:

and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar;
with hollow boards, as the Targum, which formed an arch ceiling to it, and made it look very grand and beautiful; and then over them were laid beams and planks of cedar, not properly as a flat roof to it, but rather as a flooring for other buildings; for upon this, as in ( 1 Kings 6:10 ) , there were chambers built.

7 Las piedras que se usaron en la construcción del templo se labraban en las canteras, de modo que no hubo ruido de martillo, ni de hacha, ni de ninguna otra herramienta de hierro en el lugar de la obra.

8 La entrada al piso de abajo
estaba en el lado sur del templo. Había una escalera de caracol para subir al piso de en medio, y otro tramo de escaleras entre el piso de en medio y el piso de arriba.

9 Una vez terminada la estructura del templo, Salomón puso un techo de vigas y tablas de cedro.

10 Como ya se dijo, construyó un complejo de habitaciones contra tres lados del edificio, unidas a las paredes del templo mediante vigas de cedro. Cada piso del complejo tenía una altura de dos metros con treinta centímetros.

11 Entonces el Señor
