Daniel 10:13-21

13 pero durante veintiún días el espíritu príncipe
del reino de Persia me impidió el paso. Entonces vino a ayudarme Miguel, uno de los arcángeles,
y lo dejé allí con el espíritu príncipe del reino de Persia.

14 Ahora estoy aquí para explicar lo que le sucederá en el futuro a tu pueblo, porque esta visión se trata de un tiempo aún por venir».

15 Mientras me hablaba, bajé la vista al suelo, sin poder decir una palabra.

16 Entonces el que se parecía a un hombre
me tocó los labios y abrí la boca y comencé a hablar. Le dije al que estaba de pie frente a mí:
—Estoy muy angustiado a causa de la visión que tuve, mi señor, y me siento muy débil.

17 ¿Cómo podría alguien como yo, tu siervo, hablar contigo, mi señor? Mis fuerzas se han ido y apenas puedo respirar.

18 Entonces el que se parecía a un hombre volvió a tocarme y sentí que recuperaba mis fuerzas.

19 —No tengas miedo —dijo—, porque eres muy precioso para Dios. ¡Que tengas paz, ánimo y fuerza!
Mientras me decía estas palabras, de pronto me sentí más fuerte y le dije:
—Por favor, háblame, señor mío, porque me has fortalecido.

20 —¿Sabes por qué he venido? —respondió él—. Pronto debo regresar a luchar contra el espíritu príncipe del reino de Persia y después de eso vendrá el espíritu príncipe del reino de Grecia.

21 Mientras tanto, te diré lo que está escrito en el libro de la verdad. (Nadie me ayuda contra esos espíritus príncipes, a excepción de Miguel, el espíritu príncipe de ustedes.

INTRODUCTION TO DANIEL 10

This chapter is an introduction to the prophecies contained in the two following chapters; and begins with an account of Daniel's mourning and fasting, preparatory to the vision he had, Da 10:1-3, and of the appearance of Christ to him, with the time and place of it; who is described by his clothing, and the several parts of his body, which were very glorious, he appearing in a human form, Da 10:4-6, then follows an account of the effects it had upon him, Da 10:7-9, and of what encouragement and strength he received from him, by words and touches, to listen to what he said; and to expect a discovery and an understanding of things of moment and importance, which should be in future times, Da 10:10-21.
