23 Escúchenme;
escuchen y presten mucha atención.

Isaiah 28:23

Give ye ear, and hear my voice
So said the prophet, as the Targum introduces the words; and because what he was about to say was of importance, and delivered in a parabolical manner, and required attention, he makes use of a variety of words to the same purpose, to engage their attention:

hearken, and hear my speech;
now about to be made; listen to it, and get the understanding of it.

21 El Señor
vendrá, como lo hizo contra los filisteos en el monte Perazim,
y contra los amorreos en Gabaón.
Vendrá para hacer algo extraño;
vendrá para hacer algo poco común:

22 el Señor, el Señor
de los Ejércitos Celestiales,
ha dicho con claridad que está decidido a aplastar toda la tierra.
Así que no se burlen más,
de lo contrario, su castigo será aún mayor.

23 Escúchenme;
escuchen y presten mucha atención.

24 ¿Acaso el agricultor siempre ara pero nunca siembra?
¿Está continuamente labrando la tierra y nunca plantando?

25 ¿No siembra finalmente sus semillas
—comino negro, comino, trigo, cebada y trigo espelta—
cada uno en la forma correcta,
y cada uno en el lugar que le corresponde?
