3 Los persigue y avanza seguro,
aunque pisa terreno desconocido.

Isaiah 41:3

He pursued them, and passed safely.
&c.] Went on in his work, pursued his great design in subduing the souls of men, and bringing them to the obedience of Christ; and though he had so many enemies, he "passed on safely"; God did not suffer them to set upon him, to do him any harm, even though he was exposed to perils by sea and land, by thieves and robbers, by his own countrymen and Heathens, in city and country, and even by false brethren; see ( Acts 18:10 ) ( 2 Corinthians 11:26 ) , it is in the future tense, "he shall pursue them, he shall pass safely" ^F9; or in peace: even by the way that he had not gone with his feet;
travelling in foreign parts, in distant countries, in tracks of land unknown unto him; where he had never been before, even from Jerusalem round about to Illyricum, fully preaching the Gospel of Christ, ( Romans 15:19 ) .

«Escuchen en silencio ante mí, tierras más allá del mar.
Traigan sus argumentos más convincentes.
Vengan ahora y hablen;
el tribunal está listo para oír su caso.

2 »¿Quién ha incitado a ese rey del oriente,
llamándolo en justicia para el servicio de Dios?
¿Quién le da victoria a ese hombre sobre muchas naciones
y permite que pisotee a los reyes?
Con su espada, reduce a polvo a los ejércitos
y con su arco los esparce como la paja ante el viento.

3 Los persigue y avanza seguro,
aunque pisa terreno desconocido.

4 ¿Quién ha hecho obras tan poderosas,
llamando a cada nueva generación desde el principio del tiempo?
Soy yo, el Señor
, el Primero y el Último;
únicamente yo lo soy».

5 Las tierras más allá del mar observan con temor;
las tierras lejanas tiemblan y se movilizan para la guerra.
