5 Es verdad que los reyes de Aram y de Israel han conspirado contra él diciendo:

Isaiah 7:5

Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah
Not that there were three parties in the counsel and confederacy against Judah, only two, the kingdoms of Syria and Ephraim, or Israel; the king of the former is not mentioned at all, and the latter only as if he was the son of a private person, which is purposely done by way of contempt: have taken evil counsel against thee:
which is expressed in the next verse; saying;
as follows.

3 Entonces el Señor
dijo a Isaías: «Toma a tu hijo Sear-jasub
y ve al encuentro del rey Acaz. Lo encontrarás al final del acueducto que conduce el agua al estanque superior, cerca del camino que lleva al campo donde se lavan
las telas.
4 Dile que deje de preocuparse; que no hay por qué temer a la ira feroz de esos dos tizones apagados que son Rezín, rey de Aram y Peka, hijo de Remalías.
5 Es verdad que los reyes de Aram y de Israel han conspirado contra él diciendo:
6 “Atacaremos a Judá y lo conquistaremos y pertenecerá a nosotros. Después pondremos en el trono de Judá al hijo de Tabeel”.
7 Pero esto dice el Señor
Soberano:
»“Esta invasión nunca sucederá,
nunca se llevará a cabo;
