25 Entonces les preguntó:
Los discípulos quedaron aterrados y asombrados. «¿Quién es este hombre? —se preguntaban unos a otros—. Cuando da una orden, ¡hasta el viento y las olas lo obedecen!».

Luke 8:25

And he said unto them, where is your faith?
&c.] That is, he said so to his disciples, who had professed faith in him, but now discovered very little:

and they being afraid, wondered;
being filled with awful sense of his majesty, were amazed at his power and authority, in rebuking the wind and sea, which at once obeyed him, and were still:

saying one another;
among themselves, privately:

what manner of man is this? for he commandeth even the winds and
water;
or the sea, as the Vulgate Latin. The Syriac version reads both, "the floods and the sea";

and they obey him:
according to Matthew, these words seem to be spoken by the men of the ship, the mariners; but here, according to Luke, they seem to be the words of the disciples; (See Gill on Matthew 8:27) (See Gill on Mark 4:41).

23 Mientras navegaban, Jesús se recostó para dormir una siesta. Pronto se desató una tormenta feroz sobre el lago. La barca se llenaba de agua y estaban realmente en peligro.

24 Los discípulos fueron a despertarlo: «¡Maestro! ¡Maestro! ¡Nos vamos a ahogar!», gritaron.
Cuando Jesús se despertó, reprendió al viento y a las tempestuosas olas. De repente la tormenta se detuvo, y todo quedó en calma.

25 Entonces les preguntó:

26 Jesús sana a un hombre endemoniado
Luego llegaron a la región de los gerasenos,
al otro lado del lago de Galilea.

27 Mientras Jesús bajaba de la barca, un hombre que estaba poseído por demonios salió a su encuentro. Por mucho tiempo, había estado desnudo y sin hogar, y vivía en un cementerio, en las afueras de la ciudad.
