Psalms 50:20

Thou sittest
Either in the chair of Moses, or on the seat of judgment, in the great sanhedrim of the nation; or, as Aben Ezra paraphrases it, "in the seat of the scornful";

[and] speakest against thy brother;
even to pass sentence upon him, to put him to death for professing faith in Christ, ( Matthew 10:21 ) ;

thou slanderest thine own mother's son;
the apostles and disciples of Christ, who were their brethren and kinsmen according to the flesh; and even our Lord Jesus Christ himself, who was bone of their bone, and flesh of their flesh.

18 Cuando ven ladrones, les dan su aprobación,
y se pasan el tiempo con adúlteros.

19 Tienen la boca llena de maldad,
y la lengua repleta de mentiras.

20 Se la pasan calumniando a su hermano,
a su propio hermano de sangre.

21 Mientras ustedes hacían todo esto, yo permanecí en silencio,
y pensaron que no me importaba.
Pero ahora los voy a reprender,
presentaré todas las acusaciones que tengo contra ustedes.

22 Arrepiéntanse todos los que se olvidan de mí,
o los despedazaré
y nadie los ayudará.
