11 »Ahora, hijo mío, que el SEÑOR tu Dios te ayude a construir su templo, tal como te lo ha prometido.

1 Chronicles 22:11

Now, my son, the Lord be with thee
Or "shall be with thee" ^F18, as some; and if it be as a prayer, it was no doubt a prayer of faith; the Targum is,

``may the Word of the Lord be thine help:''

and prosper thee;
may success attend thee:

and build the house of the Lord thy God, as he hath said of thee;
foretold he should, and therefore would assist him to do it, which was an encouragement to go about it.

9 Pero tendrás un hijo que será un hombre pacífico; yo haré que los países vecinos que sean sus enemigos lo dejen en paz; por eso se llamará Salomón. Durante su reinado, yo le daré a Israel paz y tranquilidad.

10 Él será quien me construya un templo. Él será para mí como un hijo, y yo seré para él como un padre. Yo afirmaré para siempre el trono de su reino en Israel”.

11 »Ahora, hijo mío, que el SEÑOR tu Dios te ayude a construir su templo, tal como te lo ha prometido.

12 Que te dé prudencia y sabiduría para que, cuando estés al frente de Israel, obedezcas su ley. Él es el SEÑOR tu Dios.

13 Si cumples las leyes y normas que el SEÑOR le entregó a Israel por medio de Moisés, entonces te irá bien. ¡Sé fuerte y valiente! ¡No tengas miedo ni te desanimes!
