6 Semaías hijo de Obed Edom también tuvo hijos, los cuales fueron jefes de sus familias patriarcales, pues eran hombres muy valientes.

1 Chronicles 26:6

Also unto Shemaiah his son
His firstborn, ( 1 Chronicles 26:4 ) were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father;
were heads of families, eminent and principal men: for they were mighty men of valour;
which their office sometimes required them to be, to guard the temple at night as well as day from thieves and robbers, and to hinder resolute men entering in, unfit for it, and seize on rioters, and quell tumults raised.

4 Los hijos de Obed Edom fueron:Semaías, el primero;Jozabad, el segundo;Joa, el tercero;Sacar, el cuarto;Natanael, el quinto;

5 Amiel, el sexto;Isacar, el séptimo,y el octavo, Peultay.Dios bendijo a Obed Edom con muchos hijos.

6 Semaías hijo de Obed Edom también tuvo hijos, los cuales fueron jefes de sus familias patriarcales, pues eran hombres muy valientes.

7 Los hijos de Semaías fueron Otni, Rafael, Obed, Elzabad, y sus hermanos Eliú y Samaquías, todos ellos hombres valientes.

8 Todos estos eran descendientes de Obed Edom. Tanto ellos como sus hijos y hermanos eran hombres muy valientes y fuertes para el trabajo. En total, los descendientes de Obed Edom fueron sesenta y dos.
