34 Esa conducta llev贸 a la dinast铆a de Jerobo谩n a pecar, y caus贸 su ca铆da y su desaparici贸n de la faz de la tierra.

1 Kings 13:34

And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam
All the above things were sins in themselves, as building high places, and putting priests in them, whoever would; but the sense is, that these were the causes of punishment, or of evil things being inflicted on Jeroboam's family; sin is put for the punishment of sin, as it often is:

even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth;
so that it become utterly extinct; and the next thing we hear of is the sickness and death of his son.

32 Porque ciertamente se cumplir谩 la sentencia que, en obediencia a la palabra del SE脩OR, 茅l pronunci贸 contra el altar de Betel y contra todos los santuarios paganos que est谩n en los montes de las ciudades de Samaria禄.
33 Con todo, Jerobo谩n no cambi贸 su mala conducta, sino que una vez m谩s puso como sacerdotes para los santuarios paganos a toda clase de gente. A cualquiera que deseaba ser sacerdote de esos santuarios, 茅l lo consagraba como tal.
