16 Las columnas que hizo remataban en dos capiteles de bronce fundido que med铆an dos metros con veinticinco cent铆metros de alto.

1 Kings 7:16

And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the
tops of the pillars
These were large ovals in the form of a crown, as the word signifies; or like two crowns joined together, as Ben Gersom; or bowls, as they are called, ( 1 Kings 7:41 ) ,

the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the
other chapiter was five cubits;
in ( 2 Kings 25:17 ) they are said to be but three cubits high; but that is to be understood only of the ornamented part of them, the wreathen work and pomegranates on them, as there expressed; here it includes, with that, the part below unornamented.

14 que era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftal铆 y de un nativo de Tiro que era artesano en bronce. Hiram era sumamente h谩bil e inteligente, experto en toda clase de trabajo en bronce, as铆 que se present贸 ante el rey Salom贸n y realiz贸 todo el trabajo que se le asign贸.
15 Hiram fundi贸 dos columnas de bronce, cada una de ocho metros de alto y cinco metros y medio de circunferencia, medidas a cordel.
16 Las columnas que hizo remataban en dos capiteles de bronce fundido que med铆an dos metros con veinticinco cent铆metros de alto.
17 Una red de cadenas trenzadas adornaba los capiteles en la parte superior de las columnas, y en cada capitel hab铆a siete trenzas.
18 El capitel de cada columna lo cubri贸 con dos hileras de granadas entrelazadas con las cadenas.
