2 Chronicles 15:12

And they entered into a covenant
Asa and all his people; that is, as Piscator remarks, they went between the pieces of the calf cut asunder, for the confirmation of the covenant, see ( Jeremiah 34:18 ) ,

to seek the Lord God of their fathers, with all their heart, and with
all their soul;
to serve and worship him most truly, sincerely, and cordially.

10 Se reunieron en Jerusalén en el mes tercero del año quince del reinado de Asá.

11 Ese día ofrecieron al SEÑOR setecientos bueyes y siete mil ovejas del botín que habían tomado.

12 Luego hicieron un pacto, mediante el cual se comprometieron a buscar de todo corazón y con toda el alma al SEÑOR, Dios de sus antepasados.

13 Al que no buscara al SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, se le castigaría con la muerte, fuera grande o pequeño, hombre o mujer.

14 Así lo juraron ante el SEÑOR, a voz en cuello y en medio de gritos y toques de trompetas y de cuernos.
