2 Crónicas 24:11

11 Los levitas llevaban el cofre a los funcionarios del rey, para que lo examinaran. Cuando veían que había mucho dinero, se presentaban el secretario real y un oficial nombrado por el sumo sacerdote y, luego de vaciar el cofre, volvían a colocarlo en su lugar. Esto lo hacían todos los días, y así recogieron mucho dinero.

2 Chronicles 24:11

Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought
unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites
The place where his officer or officers met, appointed for this service; very probably in one of the chambers of the temple,

and when they saw that there was much money:
see ( 2 Kings 12:10 ) ,

the king's scribe;
or secretary:

and the high priest's officer;
his "sagan", or deputy priest:

came and emptied the chest;
poured out the money, and told it, and put it up in bags, ( 2 Kings 12:10 ) and took it, and carried it to its place again, ( 2 Chronicles 24:8 ) , by the hands of the Levites that brought it;

and thus they did day by day;
as often as the chest was full, or they perceived there was much in it:

and gathered money in abundance;
enough to repair the house, ornament it, and furnish it with vessels that were wanting.

9 Luego mandó que se pregonara por Judá y Jerusalén que trajeran al SEÑOR la contribución que Moisés, siervo del Señor, había ordenado a Israel en el desierto.

10 Todos los jefes y todo el pueblo llevaron alegremente sus contribuciones, y las depositaron en el cofre hasta llenarlo.

11 Los levitas llevaban el cofre a los funcionarios del rey, para que lo examinaran. Esto lo hacían todos los días, y así recogieron mucho dinero.

12 El rey y Joyadá entregaban el dinero a los que supervisaban la restauración del templo del SEÑOR, y estos contrataban canteros, carpinteros, y expertos en el manejo del hierro y del bronce, para repararlo.

13 Los supervisores de la restauración trabajaron diligentemente hasta terminar la obra. Repararon el templo de Dios y lo dejaron en buen estado y conforme al diseño original.
