1 Ahora bien, Eliseo le había dicho a la mujer a cuyo hijo él había revivido: «Anda, vete con tu familia a vivir donde puedas, porque el SEÑOR ha ordenado que haya una gran hambre en el país, y que esta dure siete años».

2 Kings 8:1

Then spoke Elisha unto the woman (whose son he had restored
to life)
His hostess at Shunem, ( 2 Kings 4:8-17 ) the following he said to her, not after the famine in Samaria, but before it, as some circumstances show:

saying, arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever
thou canst sojourn;
with the greatest safety to her person and property, and with the least danger to her moral and religious character:

for the Lord hath called for a famine, and it shall also come upon the
land seven years:
which Jarchi says was the famine that was in the days of Joel; it was, undoubtedly, on account of the idolatry of Israel, and was double the time of that in the days of Elijah.

1 Ahora bien, Eliseo le había dicho a la mujer a cuyo hijo él había revivido: «Anda, vete con tu familia a vivir donde puedas, porque el SEÑOR ha ordenado que haya una gran hambre en el país, y que esta dure siete años».

2 La mujer se dispuso a seguir las instrucciones del hombre de Dios y se fue con su familia al país de los filisteos, donde se quedó siete años.

3 Al cabo de los siete años, cuando regresó del país de los filisteos, la mujer fue a rogarle al rey que le devolviera su casa y sus tierras.

4 En esos momentos el rey estaba hablando con Guiezi, el criado del hombre de Dios, y le había dicho: «Cuéntame todas las maravillas que ha hecho Eliseo».

5 Y precisamente cuando Guiezi le contaba al rey que Eliseo había revivido al niño muerto, la madre llegó para rogarle al rey que le devolviera su casa y sus tierras. Así que Guiezi dijo:—Mi señor y rey, esta es la mujer, y este es el hijo que Eliseo revivió.
