28 Ocozías, junto con Jorán hijo de Acab, marchó hacia Ramot de Galaad para hacerle guerra a Jazael, rey de Siria, pero en la batalla los sirios hirieron a Jorán.

2 Kings 8:28

And he went with Joram the son of Ahab
His mother's brother, and so his uncle:

to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead;
which he went to recover out of the hands of the king of Syria, as his father Ahab had attempted in his time; in which he was assisted by Jehoshaphat, as now Joram was by a grandson of his:

and the Syrians wounded Joram;
as they did his father Ahab at the same place, though his wound was not mortal, as his father's was.

26 Tenía veintidós años cuando ascendió al trono, y reinó en Jerusalén un año. Su madre era Atalía, nieta de Omrí, rey de Israel.

27 Ocozías hizo lo que ofende al SEÑOR, pues siguió el mal ejemplo de la familia de Acab, con la que estaba emparentado.

28 Ocozías, junto con Jorán hijo de Acab, marchó hacia Ramot de Galaad para hacerle guerra a Jazael, rey de Siria, pero en la batalla los sirios hirieron a Jorán.

29 Por eso el rey Jorán tuvo que regresar a Jezrel para reponerse de las heridas que había recibido de los sirios en Ramot, cuando luchó contra Jazael, rey de Siria. Como Jorán hijo de Acab convalecía en Jezrel, Ocozías hijo de Jorán, rey de Judá, fue a visitarlo.
