26 “Ayer vi aquí la sangre de Nabot y de sus hijos. Por lo tanto, juro que en este mismo terreno te haré pagar por ese crimen. Yo, el SEÑOR, lo afirmo”.^[a] Saca, pues, el cadáver y tíralo en el terreno, según la palabra que dio a conocer el SEÑOR.

2 Kings 9:26

Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth
These are the words of the Lord to Elijah the day after Naboth was put to death:

and the blood of his sons, said the Lord;
who were put to death with him, that there might be no heirs to the estate:

and I will requite thee in this place:
take vengeance here, as he now did on his son:

now therefore take [and] cast him into the plat [of ground], according
to the word of the Lord;
whereby it would be fulfilled, see ( 1 Kings 21:19 ) , more is here recited than there, which Jehu well remembered.

24 Pero Jehú, que ya había tensado su arco, le disparó a Jorán por la espalda, y la flecha le atravesó el corazón. Jorán se desplomó en el carro,

25 y Jehú le ordenó a su ayudante Bidcar:—Saca el cadáver y tíralo en el terreno que fue propiedad de Nabot el jezrelita. Recuerda el día en que tú y yo conducíamos juntos detrás de Acab, padre de Jorán, y el SEÑOR pronunció contra él esta sentencia:

27 Cuando Ocozías, rey de Judá, vio lo que pasaba, huyó en dirección a Bet Hagán. Pero Jehú lo persiguió, y ordenó:—¡Mátenlo a él también!Y lo hirieron en su carro cuando iba por la cuesta de Gur, cerca de Ibleam, pero logró escapar y llegar a Meguido. Allí murió.

28 Luego sus siervos trasladaron el cuerpo a Jerusalén, la Ciudad de David, donde lo sepultaron en su tumba, junto a sus antepasados.
