22 Entonces Moisés escribió ese cántico aquel día, y se lo enseñó a los israelitas.

Deuteronomy 31:22

Moses therefore wrote this song the same day
The same day it was dictated to him by divine inspiration; he wrote it, as Josephus says ^F4,

``in hexameter verse, which he left in the holy Bible or book (the Pentateuch), containing (as he adds) a prophecy of things future, according to which all things have been done, and are done; and in nothing of it has he erred from the truth;''

which is a very just account of it, and worthy of observation:

and taught it the children of Israel;
instructed them in the meaning of it, directed them to repeat it frequently, to lay it up in their memories, and often meditate upon it; as being a divine composition, and of great importance, as the consideration of it will make appear.

20 »Cuando yo conduzca a los israelitas a la tierra que juré darles a sus antepasados, tierra donde abundan la leche y la miel, comerán hasta saciarse y engordarán; se irán tras otros dioses y los adorarán, despreciándome y quebrantando mi pacto.

21 Y cuando les sobrevengan muchos desastres y adversidades, este cántico servirá de testimonio contra ellos, porque sus descendientes lo recordarán y lo cantarán. Yo sé lo que mi pueblo piensa hacer, aun antes de introducirlo en el territorio que juré darle».

22 Entonces Moisés escribió ese cántico aquel día, y se lo enseñó a los israelitas.

23 Y el SEÑOR le dio a Josué hijo de Nun esta orden: «Esfuérzate y sé valiente, porque tú conducirás a los israelitas al territorio que juré darles, y yo mismo estaré contigo».

24 Moisés terminó de escribir en un libro todas las palabras de esta ley.
