36 Desde el cielo te permitió escuchar su voz, para instruirte. Y en la tierra te permitió ver su gran fuego, desde el cual te habló.

Deuteronomy 4:36

Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might
instruct thee
Thunder is the voice of God, and by which he instructs men in the greatness of his power, ( Job 26:14 ) ( 40:9 ) ( Psalms 29:3 ) , &c. unless his voice in giving the law, which was for the instruction of Israel, is meant; for that was heard on earth, on Mount Sinai, to which the following refers:

and upon earth he showed thee his great fire;
on Mount Sinai, which burned with it:

and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire;
the ten commands, and therefore may well be called, a fiery law; see ( Deuteronomy 4:12 Deuteronomy 4:15 Deuteronomy 4:33 ) .

34 ¿Qué dios ha intentado entrar en una nación y tomarla para sí mediante pruebas, señales, milagros, guerras, actos portentosos y gran despliegue de fuerza y de poder, como lo hizo por ti el SEÑOR tu Dios en Egipto, ante tus propios ojos?

35 »A ti se te ha mostrado todo esto para que sepas que el SEÑOR es Dios, y que no hay otro fuera de él.

36 Desde el cielo te permitió escuchar su voz, para instruirte. Y en la tierra te permitió ver su gran fuego, desde el cual te habló.

37 El SEÑOR amó a tus antepasados y escogió a la descendencia de ellos; por eso él mismo personalmente te sacó de Egipto con gran poder,

38 y ante tus propios ojos desalojó a naciones más grandes y más fuertes que tú, para hacerte entrar en su tierra y dártela en posesión, como sucede hoy.
