47 Los israelitas tomaron posesión de su tierra y de la tierra de Og, rey de Basán, es decir, de los dos reyes amorreos cuyos territorios estaban al este del Jordán.

Deuteronomy 4:47

And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of
Bashan
Seized upon them, and took them as their own, and divided them for an inheritance among two of their tribes and half another:

two kings of the Amorites;
which is more than once observed, that it might be taken notice of that these were of the nations of the Canaanites Israel were to root out, and possess their land:

which were on this side Jordan, toward the sun rising;
which lands and kingdoms lay to the east of Jordan, on that side of it on which were the plains of Moab, where Moses and Israel now were.

45 Estos son los mandatos, preceptos y normas que Moisés les dictó después de que salieron de Egipto,

46 cuando todavía estaban al este del Jordán, en el valle cercano a Bet Peor. Era la tierra de Sijón, rey de los amorreos, que vivía en Hesbón y que había sido derrotado por Moisés y los israelitas cuando salieron de Egipto.

47 Los israelitas tomaron posesión de su tierra y de la tierra de Og, rey de Basán, es decir, de los dos reyes amorreos cuyos territorios estaban al este del Jordán.

48 Este territorio se extendía desde Aroer, a la orilla del arroyo Arnón, hasta el monte Sirión, es decir, el monte Hermón.

49 Incluía además todo el Arabá al este del Jordán, hasta el mar del Arabá, en las laderas del monte Pisgá.
