1 El día primero del mes tercero del año undécimo, el SEÑOR me dirigió la palabra:

Ezekiel 31:1

And it came to pass in the eleventh year
Of Zedekiah's reign, and Jeconiah's captivity: in the third month, in the first day of the month:
the month Sivan, which began on the twentieth of our May, and answers to part of May, and part of June; this was about seven weeks after the former prophecy, and about five weeks before the destruction of Jerusalem; according to Bishop Usher ^F14, this was on the nineteenth of June, on the first day of the week, in 3416 A.M. or before Christ 588: that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying;

2 «Hijo de hombre, dile al faraón y a toda su gente:»“¿Quién se puede comparar con tu grandeza?

3 Fíjate en Asiria,que alguna vez fue cedro del Líbano,con bello y frondoso ramaje;su copa llegaba hasta las nubes.

4 Las aguas lo hicieron crecer;las corrientes profundas lo nutrieron.Sus ríos corrían en torno a sus raíces;sus acequias regaban todos los árboles del campo.

5 Así el cedro creciómás alto que todos los árboles.Gracias a las abundantes aguas,se extendió su frondoso ramaje.
