Hechos 3:9 Meaning and Commentary

Acts 3:9

And all the people
That were in the temple,

saw him walking;
who before lay on a couch, or on the ground, and was so lame, that he was obliged to be carried;

and praising God;
for this miraculous cure. The Arabic version renders it, "saw him walking to praise God": that is, entering into the temple with the apostles, in order to offer up the sacrifice of praise to God there.

7 Y tom谩ndolo por la mano derecha, lo levant贸. Al instante los pies y los tobillos del hombre cobraron fuerza.
8 De un salto se puso en pie y comenz贸 a caminar. Luego entr贸 con ellos en el templo con sus propios pies, saltando y alabando a Dios.
9 Cuando todo el pueblo lo vio caminar y alabar a Dios,
10 lo reconocieron como el mismo hombre que acostumbraba pedir limosna sentado junto a la puerta llamada Hermosa, y se llenaron de admiraci贸n y asombro por lo que le hab铆a ocurrido.
11 Mientras el hombre segu铆a aferrado a Pedro y a Juan, toda la gente, que no sal铆a de su asombro, corri贸 hacia ellos al lugar conocido como P贸rtico de Salom贸n.
