7 Y esta es la señal que te daré para confirmar lo que te he prometido:

Isaiah 38:7

And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord
And which it seems Hezekiah asked, and it was put to him which he would choose, whether the shadow on the sundial should go forward or backward ten degrees, and he chose the latter, ( 2 Kings 20:8-11 ) , which was a token confirming and assuring that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken;
recover Hezekiah from his sickness, so that on the third day he should go up to the temple; have fifteen years added to his days; and the city of Jerusalem protected from the attempts of the Assyrian monarch.

5 «Ve y dile a Ezequías que así dice el SEÑOR, Dios de su antepasado David: “He escuchado tu oración y he visto tus lágrimas; voy a darte quince años más de vida.
6 Y a ti y a esta ciudad los libraré de caer en manos del rey de Asiria. Yo defenderé esta ciudad.
7 Y esta es la señal que te daré para confirmar lo que te he prometido:
8 Haré que en la escala de Acaz la sombra del sol retroceda las diez gradas que ya ha bajado”». ¡Y la luz del sol retrocedió las diez gradas que ya había bajado!
9 Después de su enfermedad y recuperación Ezequías, rey de Judá, escribió:
