Josué 11:12

12 Josué conquistó todas las ciudades de aquellos reinos junto con sus reyes; a estos mató a filo de espada, destruyéndolos por completo. Así obedeció Josué todo lo que Moisés, siervo del SEÑOR, le había mandado.

Joshua 11:12

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them
did Joshua take
As particularly Madon, Shimron, and Achshaph, with others which he marched unto, after he had burnt Hazor; in which he took their kings, whither they had fled, or else he had taken them before in the pursuit:

and smote them with the edge of the sword;
both the kings and the inhabitants of those cities:

[and] he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the Lord
commanded;
so that, in doing what he did, he did not indulge a spirit of revenge, cruelty, and avarice, but had regard purely to the command of Moses, which was of God, ( Deuteronomy 7:1 Deuteronomy 7:2 ) .

10 Al regreso Josué conquistó Jazor y mató a filo de espada a su rey, pues Jazor había sido cabecera de todos aquellos reinados.

11 Los israelitas mataron a espada a todo cuanto tenía vida. Arrasaron la ciudad y le prendieron fuego.

12 Josué conquistó todas las ciudades de aquellos reinos junto con sus reyes; a estos mató a filo de espada, destruyéndolos por completo. Así obedeció Josué todo lo que Moisés, siervo del SEÑOR, le había mandado.

13 Las ciudades que estaban sobre los cerros fueron las únicas que los israelitas no quemaron, excepto Jazor.

14 Tomaron como botín de guerra todas las pertenencias del enemigo y su ganado, y mataron a todos los hombres a filo de espada, de modo que ninguno quedó con vida.
