25 Ese día murieron todos los habitantes de Hai, como doce mil hombres y mujeres.

Joshua 8:25

And [so] it was, [that] all that fell that day
Partly in the city, and partly in the field, both by the ambush and the army: both of men and women;

[were] twelve thousand, [even] all the men of Ai;
so that the city was not a very large one, and the numbers of inhabitants were comparatively but few, as in ( Joshua 7:3 ) .

23 Al rey de Hai lo capturaron vivo y se lo entregaron a Josué.
24 Después de que los israelitas terminaron de matar a filo de espada, en el campo y el desierto, a todos los guerreros de Hai que habían salido a perseguirlos, regresaron a la ciudad y del mismo modo mataron a todos los que quedaban.
25 Ese día murieron todos los habitantes de Hai, como doce mil hombres y mujeres.
26 Josué mantuvo extendido el brazo con el que sostenía su jabalina, hasta que el ejército israelita exterminó a todos los habitantes de Hai.
27 Y tal como el SEÑOR había mandado, el pueblo se quedó con el botín de guerra y todo el ganado.
