Leviticus 27:4

And if it [be] a female
That is, of the same age, full twenty years of age, and not more than sixty:

then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels;
about three pounds ten shillings of our money, the price of a servant, ( Exodus 21:32 ) ; the reason of this difference of estimation between a man and a woman is, because the woman is the weaker vessel, and her labour and service of less importance and worth, such as spinning, washing

2 que les dijera a los israelitas: «Cuando alguien quiera hacerle al SEÑOR un voto especial equivalente al valor de una persona,

3 se aplicará el siguiente cálculo:»Por los varones de veinte a sesenta años de edad se pagarán cincuenta monedas de plata, según la tasación oficial del santuario.

4 »Por las mujeres se pagarán treinta monedas de plata.

5 »Por los varones de cinco a veinte años de edad se pagarán veinte monedas, y diez monedas por las mujeres de la misma edad.

6 »Por los niños de un mes a cinco años se pagarán cinco monedas, y tres monedas por las niñas de la misma edad.
