Mark 12:3

And they caught him
This clause is left out in the Syriac and Persic versions, though it seems proper to be retained; and denotes the rudeness and violence with which the prophets of the Lord were used by the Jewish nation:

and beat him:
either with their fists, or with rods, and scourges, till the skin was flayed off:

and sent him away empty;
without any fruit to carry with him, or give an account of, to the owner of the vineyard.

1 Entonces comenz贸 Jes煤s a hablarles en par谩bolas: Un hombre plant贸 un vi帽edo. Lo cerc贸, cav贸 un lagar y construy贸 una torre de vigilancia. Luego arrend贸 el vi帽edo a unos labradores y se fue de viaje.
2 Llegada la cosecha, mand贸 un siervo a los labradores para recibir de ellos una parte del fruto.
3 Pero ellos lo agarraron, lo golpearon y lo despidieron con las manos vac铆as.
4 Entonces les mand贸 otro siervo; a este le rompieron la cabeza y lo humillaron.
5 Mand贸 a otro, y a este lo mataron. Mand贸 a otros muchos, a unos los golpearon, a otros los mataron.
