And the Gospel must first be published among all nations.
] The Syriac version reads, "my Gospel"; the Gospel which Christ was the author, subject, and preacher of; this "must be published". There was a necessity of the promulgation of it by the will of God, the command and commission of Christ; and for the gathering in of the Jews, that were the elect of God, "among all nations" of the world, especially in the Roman empire; and that "first", or before the destruction of Jerusalem; (See Gill on Matthew 24:14).

8 Se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino. Habrá terremotos por todas partes; también habrá hambre. Esto será apenas el comienzo de los dolores.

11 Y cuando los arresten y los sometan a juicio, no se preocupen de antemano por lo que van a decir. Solo declaren lo que se les dé a decir en ese momento, porque no serán ustedes los que hablen, sino el Espíritu Santo.

12 »El hermano entregará a la muerte al hermano, y el padre al hijo. Los hijos se rebelarán contra sus padres y les darán muerte.
