48 —¿Acaso soy un bandido[a] —dijo Jesús—, para que vengan con espadas y palos a arrestarme?

Mark 14:48

And Jesus answered and said unto them
To the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, that came with the band and officers, as appears from ( Luke 22:52 ) . The Persic version reads, "to the multitude":

are ye come out as against a thief, with swords and with staves,
to take me? (See Gill on Matthew 26:55).

46 Entonces los hombres prendieron a Jesús.
47 Pero uno de los que estaban ahí desenfundó la espada e hirió al siervo del sumo sacerdote, cortándole una oreja.
48 —¿Acaso soy un bandido —dijo Jesús—, para que vengan con espadas y palos a arrestarme?
49 Día tras día estaba con ustedes, enseñando en el templo, y no me prendieron. Pero es preciso que se cumplan las Escrituras.
50 Entonces todos lo abandonaron y huyeron.
