3 La puerta de los Pescados la reconstruyeron los descendientes de Sená.^[a] Colocaron las vigas y pusieron la puerta en su lugar, con sus cerrojos y barras.

Nehemiah 3:3

But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build
So called, because fish was brought from the sea coasts through it, and near it was the fish market; this also was southward, according to Dr. Lightfoot ^F24; others say northward; some say it led to the sea of Galilee, Jordan, and all the east and north country: but it is most likely to be westward towards the Mediterranean sea, Tyre, and Joppa, from whence fish were brought; and Rauwolff says ^F25 it is still standing towards the west, behind Mount Sion, and over against Mount Gihon, see ( 2 Chronicles 33:14 ) he also says, this gate was called the gate of Hebron, because the road of Hebron went through it, which is about seven or eight hours' walking distant from it:

who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the
locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
completely finished it.

1 Entonces el sumo sacerdote Eliasib y sus compañeros los sacerdotes trabajaron en la reconstrucción de la puerta de las Ovejas. La repararon y la colocaron en su lugar, y reconstruyeron también la muralla desde la torre de los Cien hasta la torre de Jananel.

2 El tramo contiguo lo reconstruyeron los hombres de Jericó, y el tramo siguiente, Zacur hijo de Imrí.

3 La puerta de los Pescados la reconstruyeron los descendientes de Sená. Colocaron las vigas y pusieron la puerta en su lugar, con sus cerrojos y barras.

4 El tramo contiguo lo reconstruyó Meremot, hijo de Urías y nieto de Cos, y el tramo siguiente Mesulán, hijo de Berequías y nieto de Mesezabel. El siguiente tramo lo reconstruyó Sadoc hijo de Baná.

5 Los de Tecoa reconstruyeron el siguiente tramo de la muralla, aunque sus notables no quisieron colaborar con los dirigentes.
