6 Continuamos con la reconstrucción y levantamos la muralla hasta media altura, pues el pueblo trabajó con entusiasmo.

Nehemiah 4:6

So built we the wall
Went on in building it, notwithstanding their scoffs and threats:

and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof;
it was carried all round the city to half the height of it:

for the people had a mind to work;
their heart was in it, they had a good will to it, and they made haste to finish it.

4 Por eso oramos:«¡Escucha, Dios nuestro,cómo se burlan de nosotros!Haz que sus ofensas recaigan sobre ellos mismos:entrégalos a sus enemigos;¡que los lleven en cautiverio!

5 No pases por alto su maldadni olvides sus pecados,porque insultan a los que reconstruyen».

6 Continuamos con la reconstrucción y levantamos la muralla hasta media altura, pues el pueblo trabajó con entusiasmo.

7 Pero cuando Sambalat y Tobías, y los árabes, los amonitas y los asdodeos se enteraron de que avanzaba la reconstrucción de la muralla y de que ya estábamos cerrando las brechas, se enojaron muchísimo

8 y acordaron atacar a Jerusalén y provocar disturbios en ella.
