24 Todos os líderes e principais guerreiros, bem como todos os filhos do rei Davi, prometeram submissão ao rei Salomão.

1 Chronicles 29:24

And all the princes and the mighty men
The princes of the tribes, and the officers of the army:

and all the sons likewise of King David;
as many as were living: and though they were elder than Solomon,

[they] submitted to Solomon the king;
or "gave the hand under" ^F20 him, promised obedience, and swore allegiance to him, see ( Genesis 24:2 Genesis 24:9 ) .

22 Naquele dia comeram e beberam com grande alegria na presença do SENHOR.Assim, pela segunda vez, proclamaram Salomão, filho de Davi, rei, ungindo-o diante do SENHOR como soberano, e Zadoque como sacerdote.

23 De maneira que Salomão assentou-se como rei no trono do SENHOR, em lugar de Davi, seu pai. Ele prosperou, e todo o Israel lhe obedecia.

24 Todos os líderes e principais guerreiros, bem como todos os filhos do rei Davi, prometeram submissão ao rei Salomão.

25 O SENHOR exaltou muitíssimo Salomão em todo o Israel e concedeu-lhe tal esplendor em seu reinado como nenhum rei de Israel jamais tivera.

26 Davi, filho de Jessé, reinou sobre todo o Israel.
