60 Assim, todos os povos da terra saberão que o SENHOR é Deus e que não há nenhum outro.

1 Kings 8:60

That all the people of the earth may know that the Lord is
God
By chastising the people of Israel when they sinned; by bearing and answering their prayers when they prayed unto him; by forgiving their sins, and delivering them out of their troubles; by maintaining their cause, and protecting them in the enjoyment of their blessings: and that there is "none else"; no God besides him; all being else fictitious deities, or nominal ones; he only is the one living and true God.

58 E faça com que de coração nos voltemos para ele, a fim de andarmos em todos os seus caminhos e obedecermos aos seus mandamentos, decretos e ordenanças, que deu aos nossos antepassados.

59 E que as palavras da minha súplica ao SENHOR tenham acesso ao SENHOR, o nosso Deus, dia e noite, para que ele defenda a causa do seu servo e a causa de Israel, o seu povo, de acordo com o que precisarem.

60 Assim, todos os povos da terra saberão que o SENHOR é Deus e que não há nenhum outro.

61 Mas vocês, tenham coração íntegro para com o SENHOR, o nosso Deus, para viverem por seus decretos e obedecerem aos seus mandamentos, como acontece hoje”.

62 Então o rei Salomão e todo o Israel ofereceram sacrifícios ao SENHOR;
