1 Samuel 20:16

So Jonathan made [a covenant] with the house of David
Not with David himself only, which was now renewed, but with his family also:

[saying], let the Lord even require [it] at the hand of David's
enemies;
take vengeance on Jonathan, or on any of his posterity, should they break this covenant, by showing themselves enemies to David, and his crown; and, on the other hand, also on David, and his posterity, should they not show kindness to Jonathan and his seed, according to the tenor of this covenant.

14 Se eu continuar vivo, seja leal comigo, com a lealdade do SENHOR; mas, se eu morrer,
15 jamais deixe de ser leal com a minha família, mesmo quando o SENHOR eliminar da face da terra todos os inimigos de Davi”.
16 Assim Jônatas fez uma aliança com a família de Davi, dizendo: “Que o SENHOR chame os inimigos de Davi para prestar contas”.
17 E JĂ´natas fez Davi reafirmar seu juramento de amizade, pois era seu amigo leal.
18 Então Jônatas disse a Davi: “Amanhã é a festa da lua nova. Vão sentir sua falta, pois sua cadeira estará vazia.
