10 Naquela ocasião os oficiais de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, avançaram até Jerusalém e a cercaram.

2 Kings 24:10

At that time
When Jehoiachin reigned:

when the year was expired;
so it is in ( 2 Chronicles 36:10 ) or at the revolution of the year; which some take to be autumn, the beginning of the civil year with the Jews; but rather it was the spring, the time when kings went out to battle, ( 2 Samuel 11:1 )

the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against
Jerusalem;
that is, his army, under proper generals and officers, and by his orders:

and the city was besieged;
in form by the Chaldean army.

8 Joaquim tinha dezoito anos de idade quando começou a reinar e reinou três meses em Jerusalém. O nome da sua mãe era Neusta, filha de Elnatã; ela era de Jerusalém.
9 Ele fez o que o SENHOR reprova, tal como seu pai.
10 Naquela ocasião os oficiais de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, avançaram até Jerusalém e a cercaram.
11 Enquanto os seus oficiais a cercavam, o próprio Nabucodonosor veio à cidade.
12 Então Joaquim, rei de Judá, sua mãe, seus conselheiros, seus nobres e seus oficiais se entregaram; todos se renderam a ele.No oitavo ano do reinado do rei da Babilônia, Nabucodonosor levou Joaquim como prisioneiro.
